RIVER RUN PET POLICY PROCEDURES – ENACTED MAY 2010, REVISED MARCH 2013

Effective April 1, 2013

All pets except birds, rabbits, hamsters and cats that remain indoors at all times must be registered with the Pet committee.  A completed registration form and a photo of the pet will be required.

Owners must keep pets properly vaccinated per Worcester County Regulations.  Proof of vaccination may be requested by the HOA Board.

Renters ARE NOT permitted to keep pets on premises unless renting for more than 6 months and have the express permission of the owner of the home or unit.

Owners are responsible for the pick-up and sanitary disposal of pet waste as well as ensuring that their pets refrain from urinating on their neighbor’s plants, lawn and shrubbery. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU PICK UP YOUR DOG'S WASTE  IN A TIMELY MANNER...THE GROUND CREW DOES NOT LIKE RUNNING MOWERS OVER THIS WASTE...THEY WILL NOT MOW YOUR LAWN IF THIS IS NOT DONE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION..

Pet Owners are SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LIABILITY OR DAMAGES CAUSED BY THEIR PET.

The Owner of the River Run Golf Course does not allow pets on the course at any time.

ALL DOGS:

Must be on a leash except in an Owners yard.  In the case of a Condominium, the term yard shall mean in the owner’s front, back or side yards and in the eyebrow areas.  When off-leash in an owner’s yard dogs must remain within 25 feet of the owner, and be under constant supervision and control of the owner.

Must be on a leash held by a responsible person when on the main roads of River Run.  These roads include, but are not limited to, Player, River Run, Masters, Bellerive, Muirfield, Royal Lytham and Fancourt Lanes.

Are forbidden to enter the Pool area per the Worcester County Health Department.

Shall be kept from continuously barking and creating a disturbance.

ALL CATS:

                Must be indoors after 10:00 pm.

Owners are discouraged from feeding “feral” cats.

VIOLATIONS

                Any alleged violation must be presented in writing to a pet committee member in and shall include the time and place where the violation occurred.  A first violation will result in a warning letter from the Pet Committee.  A second violation requires the homeowner to meet with the Pet Committee

to discuss the issue and come to a resolution.  Subsequent violations will be referred to the HOA Board who shall have the right to impose a fine of up to $ 50 per violation.
